I just got reminded why I use tailwind instead of writing CSS manually. Anyways.

HTML:

  • <!DOCTYPE html> to disabled quirks mode
  • lang to html tag
  • meta charset and viewport
  • favicon in head (mainly so it shows when just opening file locally)
  • some semantic html
  • changed WebIntegrity to Web Environment Integrity as later one is more easily searchable

CSS:

  • reset border-sizing to border-box because no one should be forced to use content-box
  • fixed typo in sans-serif
  • limited width of the page so paragraphs don't go from one side of the screen to the next
  • increased line-height on paragraphs to make them slightly easier on eyes
  • centered text the modern way (<center> is deprecated)

I'd be happy to remove any of the changes you don't like.

Thanks for these improvements. I want to use a small templating engine eventually so maybe we can integrate tailwind css at that point too.
