# Placeholders
|

|
|
||
|
|
Placeholders are used to insert additional content or variables in the document.
|
||
|
|
The syntax for placeholders is:
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|

|
The most commonly used placeholders are:

| `[[TOC]][ordered=true/false]` | Inserts the table of contents at the current position |
|

| `[[date]]` | Inserts the current date |
|
